My own artwork, with a few of my photographs thrown in...
Most students of Aikido practice on a mat with a partner. I practice instead on a wet sheet of paper with watercolor paint. I apologize up front for the quality, or lack of quality, in the photos of the paintings. Ditto the simple design of the web pages.
My effort here is not to toil to show the paintings in the best possible light, but just to show them at all. To that end, I hope that you find the photos satisfactory, and the paintings themselves worth your time to view.
Regards, Bob
Thanks to Richard Moon for the model of "Aikido in Three Easy Lessons" - and his book by that name - for the structure of "Feel where you are, Align with the situation as it unfolds, and Share who you are."
Dear Friend,
I do not sell my paintings. I paint for the pleasure of painting. Also for pleasure, I donate money to an international charitable organization whose program may just hold the key to ending world hunger and creating peace on earth.
I know that sounds like hyperbole - and admittedly, it is. But Heifer International's program of providing breeding livestock to families living in conditions of otherwise hopeless poverty, brings self sufficiency and sustenance to people in need in all corners of the world. For female heads of households, their program may be the only path from abject poverty into self sufficiency and self respect.
Thanks for your consideration of the link below to my Team Heifer fundraising page.
